Jagdgeschwader 77 Herz As

I was trying to take over the world on Hearts of Iron III and as I was selecting squadrons to defend my 'Strats' the name of one squadron was; Jagdgeschwader 77 Herz As. (kinda has a ring to it :) )

As I'm finding the 109's fun to fly and after some light checking the squadron used the G-2 of which there is a skin ingame. I haven't noticed the squad name used in Aces High, but just checking to see if it's already in use. If not I intend to keep the squad name for MA usage.

Let me know if I'm 'half-inching' a squads identity and I'll look for another 109 geschwader

JG 77 is in use. Check AHjg77.com. Good group, check with Weta or Freytag.

Heck, you were in a spitty squadron, then asked a luft one to join. (all good til here) When a decent one was just about to accept you, you refused... Now you start an own luft squad...

Just noticed that Weta and Freytag are now with Nowotny....maybe JG77 is disbanded..

Still have not seen anyone other than me fly with the tag in the LWMA, or recieved any objection to my using of it.
So I'll be keeping it on a lend lease policy, should the old JG77 return, I'll happily negotiate the tag usage.

I will be flying under, JG77 "Herz-As" on the Rooks. Anyone who wishes to join my in my adventure into the 109 set and C205... your nuts!  :P

Yes sir, due to low membership, we've had to move on. Maybe one day reform, but for the time being, we will be with Nowotny.

The Herz As is definitely my favourite Geschwader, I hope you'll do it justice.  :salute

Dolby there are also two JG-77 109K skins. The default and a JG11 skin by Mus51.
