I find the auto flaps thingy on the f4u's just irritating.. I think it would be alot better to just drop the flaps 2 notches when needed, because if you don't take off from a carrier much you don't really need them for a normal takeoff.
Instead of dropping the 2 notches the few times they are needed, we now have to raise them each and every time we take off from a field and don't really need flaps instead. But I am starting to get used to raising flaps now, it was most annoying in the start when that patch came out..
And I do fly f4u's alot, so getting used to things is not really the problem. It's more about getting tired of little issues in the long run now..
To top the icing they could add the f4u's folded wings also while they're at it. That's another carrier thing..
But I guess I would just hate it when sitting on a field runway surrounded by vulcher's, waiting for my wings to unfold before takeoff..
