You almost need a regional score multiplier for FSO, eh?

Bit of a whine, sure, whatever ya wanna call it, but IMO is it fair to give massive bonus points to one side for slamming a tiny attack force of obsolete outdated 190a8s (5 total) with some 30-odd suborbital ENY5 planes? Spit16s, P-38s, P-51Ds all in massive numbers. We never got near the target, but the point is... how much effort does that take?

How much points should they get based on effort? There's no way anybody was getting in, period. Like ENY what if there was some sort of regional points multiplier? More than 2-1 odds and the points for the plane loss are nullified? They still defend the objects but why reward them for the horde?

Just a thought, based off of several past wishlists regarding regional ENY in the MAs.

Interesting, my flight of P47D25's ran into 262's, Ta152, 109k4's, 190d9s and 190a8s and were slaughtered to hell. Wait whats this whine about?

As I understand it, we have a commander for each side that sends out orders.  These orders are based on a loose perception of what the enemy has to hit and what has to be hit against an enemy.  It is up to these commanders to make assignments based on that information.  Sometimes fights at targets are equal, sometimes not.  It seems to be the nature of the beast.

C'mon Krusty.  The AXIS commander's strategy involved reaping points from defending more that attacking.  Because he chose this instead of giving you cover on your jabo run is hardly a reason to weight the scoring in your favor for your mission.  Frankly, I find your idea absurd.  The change you suggest would change everything but would it truly make it better?  I can see, under your suggested rules, CIC's planning on small strike packages that would have no penalty for failure.  And I think the scoring would be a nightmare.  You guys certainly had a tough job and paid dearly for it.
