view system bug
« on: September 04, 2011, 06:37:14 PM »

Have several bugs with view system.  Have recently purchased new gateway with windows seven and unable to access video options from menu.
When i click on video options i immediately recieve a message the aceshighexe has stopped working and to close. Have reinstalled in c/hitechcreations/ah so its in the
correct folder as recommended. Recently when i try to take off the view is stuck in the forward up view rather than default view with the pov on my x52 in the center
position. Have no idea why. View system worked fine earlier today.

in case you didn't do this yet, disable the uac in windows, remove that nasty junk anti virus that came with the system (if you must use anti virus, use avast free version you can at least shut down the resident real time virus scanners), make sure ah is allowed through the firewall, and test your in game settings in offline mode.

also, under options -> preferences -> view options take the check mark out of "always start in mouse look".

what is uac
User Account Control, causes those little pop-ups "are you sure you want to do this" on your screen when you try to install a program or start one up. that is assuming you have vista or win7.
