Current engine: 1983 280zx turbo inline six L28et in place of the original VG30 V-6......Turbocharged and intercooled to the tune of 280hp running on a 2001 OBDII nissan frontier engine management system flashed with the supercharged frontier fuel and timing maps.......through a stock exhaust system with catalyst.
This setup passes emissions inspection on the dyno in the state of virginia but the boost is limited by use of flat top pistons but it will run on 87 octane with 7.5 pounds boost with boost recirculation instead of atmospheric blow off valving.

Previous engine is good for 450hp and works well with a jatco 3n71b sourced from a RX-7 turbo II with 3800 rpm stall convertor but it will probably be swapped back in with a 5 speed.
