Anyone know what exact model 109 this is?  (I'm thinking G-10?)

Always the little things that strike the most interest from me in footage like this. - 3:23 mark, checkout the compass...  Is that the way our version in the game is supposed to look/work?  How does it normaly work?  Does the outer dial revolve around the middle dial with the silhouet of a plane (our in-game version thus functioning backwards from the real versions), or this outer-most component manualy adjustable while the center dial always roates to represent the direction the aircraft is traveling in?

I'd never realized that the motorcannon was so...there!  What a huge monstrosity to have between your legs in the cockpit.  I wonder how loud it was when you let her rip....20mm full auto in that enclosed space must have made the nose run.

True and what I first thought going off just the canopy, but isn't that a 30mm between that Limey's legs (seems a bit large for a 20mm, but that could be the perspective from also having him stradled ontop of it), or is he just happy to see us?

The bulge between the legs is the housing for the cannon, not the cannon itself. I beleive its armored incase the gun blows up in a backfire.

It is the 'Black 6' which is currently at RAF museum in Hendon, so it's a G-2/Trop. It was still under restoration as that clip was filmed.

Which tells you how old that film is.  Paul Day hasn't looked that young in a while

Edit:  So next random question, anyone know how tall Paul Day is or was?  I missed it if it he mentioned it during the film.  Looks like he's the max height.

I believe he was the pilot of the Spit II that I got in at the 41 Squadron reunion in 1985.  It was the B of B Flight bird.  I'm 5'10" and was was amazing to me was that my hero's, all these Spit XII drivers were all shorter then me, and that included the guy flying the B of B Flight Spit II.

I'd always figured they were all 10 feet tall
