Project Reality for Battlefield 2 and Arma 2 would like to have a word with you.

try that in there newest games such as battlefield 1943 (OH SNAP WAIT THATS NOT FOR PC!   ) oh for  sure i know BC2 had mods... wait no it did not....

simple fact is dice is to worried about consoles now they used to be PC only (BF2) (1942) but now they are saying "screw PC they make are game better than we made it, that makes us look bad to console ppl who want this but cant have it because there little PS3's and XBfailsOX'S cant handle that power... so why make mods for PC" i used to love dice now they are crap.

Project reality is a realism expansion mod FOR battlefield 2. so why do you say dice didnt allow mods for it when clearly they do? And project reality is planning on doing the same thing for bf3.

Im glad they went to consoles. Not everyone can afford a good enough computer to run games on. Plus the console market is BOOMING right now. it would of been foolish for DICE to restrict themselves to PC only.

Besides isent BF3 being designed on PC and ported to consoles anyways? Thought dice said it was to make it up to the fans for designing bad company on consoles and porting to pc.

pyeah PR mod is kick arse i play it more, plus i heard a rumor that dice sat down with the PR mod team and got ideas for BF3 from them. and if you read up more on the home page their blogs they will have way mor weapons mods for bF3 then CoD MW3. although these 2 games ultimately come down to personal opinion, their is one thing CoD will never have, and thats the ability to play jets and helos on large scale maps like BF3. hell  it kinda sucks becuase Fh2 mod most likely wont bring the WW2 ships into the game like 1942 had and dice is going to be very selective about what mods will be made for BF3, that was one of the outcries the fans had was mods, so DICE is going to allow mods just going to be selective about what mods make it and dont make it.

im not very computer-litterate, but i believe all those mods have been blamed for most COD games being easy to hack over the years.

Black ops was junk, and most COD games become a hack-fest as soon as the new entry comes out.

Just look at W@W, as soon as MW2 came out, W@W become a huge hack-fest. then MW2 became the same thing when Blops came out. but Blops got hit by a hacker wave too on 360 and the aim-bot problem.

You dont hear as much about that on BF games. Not saying BF is without its hackers, Just Dice takes alot more care of their games.

So you can have your mods, I'll take a game that actually is playable and the company watches over it.

Actually, MW2 was hit with hackers right away, far before BOs came out. One of the reasons why I stopped playing it after only a few months and went back to Bad Company.

i could easily find one any day in BO. theres so many hackers on it that ive quit that game's multiplayer, people shooting RPG's thru walls, RC-XD's flying 20 feet in the air and killing you from an unrealalistic distance ect...

I've seen my fair share of hackers in BO, ranked matches and all. All were aimbots so they were easily detected, but I haven't seen anything other than that.

Just like it was awesome how CoD went back to WW2 after MW1? (World @ Warfail)

Call of Duty 4 *is* the breaking ground for all CoDs that followed. It was revolutionary, it was great, it had good graphics for the time.
Call of Duty World at War was another awesome addition, because of one reason...zombies.
Call Of Duty MW2 added almost nothing to the franchise besides singleplayer/co-op missions, which wasn't even that fun. It took away dedicated servers (bad bad bad bad!), leaning, and limb removal.
Call of Duty Black Ops tried to fix MW2 for the most part, but again, added nothing new besides the usual guns, maps, and what not. Customization was cool, but nothing big to make it stand out.

IMO, Call of Duty 4/WaW was and IS awesome.

If DICE made a WW2 Battlefield with graphics just like BF3 or even better, I would cry tears of joy.

i got the BF3 limited edition on preorder. i preordered it after i saw a trailer for it back in may. omg i cant wait for it. and yes CoD is a hackers paradise, thats why i stopped playing it. plus BF 1942 and BF Vietnam was so much better, in BF 1942 you could get away with kamakazi's.

well ive had black ops when it came out.... for pc and never have ive seen a hacker, and mods are in unranked vac (No hack) machtes so even in MODS you wont get hackers... now the PS3 and XBOX almost every game i see a hacker so yeah

you do realize that aimbots/headshot mods are basically hacks right? im 100% sure there are people that use them in the PC version of black ops. also, arent you only 11 or something?
