INK I think Del and catb were speaking specifically to not bringing up those names now as the event was in the past.  They made the choice at the time to not make it public and I would guess it wasn't a transaction that took place because of the AH classifieds.

In that regards I believe Steve has an obligation to speak up here as the transaction was set up via the AH classifieds.

It's fairly common on any board where folks buy and sell that folks sound the alarm if there is someone not following through.

I never said" I agree with Dano's name being brought up."..

Yes INK , you are correct. Just because one apple in the basket is bad does not mean they all are, meaning the AOM.
Theres good and bad people everywhere you go in life.

I hope Steve gets the computer ( or his money back) and all ends well.

Well I feel for Steve and sent him some suggestions.  I never said about the 23 players/community people that collectively owe me $9,745.00.  This is for systems that payment arrangements were made and never met to can you ship me the CH Pedals, I get paid on ______ and will send you the money then.  Emails and phone calls go un-returned.  Saw a few in game and asked them to call with no reply.  Even with PayPal your not protected.  Had two guys say the system shipped was not as advertised (mean while they oked the build sheet) and PayPal takes the money out of your account without notice and even making sure that they shipped the item back.  There are some "slick, cheating, scammers, liars, ________ " out there and if they intend on getting you, they will.  No matter what good intentions are, seems like something always comes up.

IMHO the community overall has gone in the dumpster and it has effected game play and squads as well.

If you're paying via PayPal, make arrangements to use your credit card as the form of payment rather than your bank account.  Then it opens up some new avenues when the credit card company goes after the person.

Been watching this thread a lot. Let's just stop this convo before it becomes the straw that breaks the camel's back. You might say that it doesn't take only 1 thread to get a section shut down, but I'd rather not risk it.

puhleeze. Skuzzy will lock the thread once he feels it's run its course, which it about has, and if it degrades overmuch.....   He's not going to shut down a section over a single event. We have enough moderators, thanks.

Several members of this AH community owe TD 10 grand??  C'mon guys, seriously, if you have the money to pay your subscription you have the money to pay for what you've purchased.
