I have a question about scoring:  Is there any score benefit to killing a pilot after he has bailed?  I am under the impression that the kill is awarded when the pilot leaves his/her plane.  At least this has been the case when I bail.  The only effect I can think of of killing a chute is to lower the pilot in the chute's "Life/Death" ratio if you are keeping track.
I wounder if there is some way to penalize a person score wise for killing a helpless bailer.
(Yes, I did buy it like that today.  Did it make me mad?  Na, it's just a game after all   )

Some people do it just to piss other people off.

Sometimes though, it can plain be an accident. I shot up a N1K2 last night, was putting a few more rounds into him so he couldn't ditch (lost two kills that way the sortie before) and he suddenly bailed right into the path of some of my cannon shells. Ouch that had to hurt.
