Heres a link to a pic gallery of a buff mission I helped organise earlier. It was a counterstrike to the big raid by cavej and his goons that deprived us of our DAR.
The target was Rook HQ from F1. There were 5 B-17s (Dasbob, Staga, IwoJima, Blueice & Myself) and 4 escort fighters (Fatty, Tern, MYNUTZ and Rollo). Not sure what happened but we lost Iwo just after take off, going down in flames. We climbed south from F1 and then along the coast to 30k. I discoed during the climb (bastage isp) but rejoined the group as an escort. Tern did a great job of scouting the way and vectoring the bombers to target.
The HQ and some other complexes were destroyed before any real resistance came from the Rooks. Staga destroyed an intercepting spit with his 6 gunner. Tern and Fatty discoed leaving myself and arkan, who had joined the scrap with the bombers. My only kill came in a high speed dive with a spit. I put a few on em and i think he ripped his wing (RAS). I then ran out of fuel but udie got me as i was ditchin.
I want to thank the guys who got involved in the mission cos i had a really great time with all of u. I hope you like the pics. Theres no action ones im sorry to say (it got a bit hectic and i forgot) but they are good none the less. Ive also played around with the colour to make them more interesting/authentic.
