exactly, early emo. same as jimmy eat world, weezer, switchfoot, fall out boy, flyleaf and others...but i suppose they did change their style enough in 95 or 99 to get out of the emo world.

I freaking love every one of those bands! though I'm not sure you could put switchfoot in their with emo. Just not what I think about when I hear them.
