That's pretty cool.  I can imagine some interesting applications for that.

Could be the future of locomotive transportation. Perhaps it could replace current automobiles that use gas as a source of fuel.

 The problem with this technology is that it requires extremely cold temps to work,I would think they used liquid nitrogen.

  I saw a spider being levitated in a magnetic field but this is totally different from using a semiconductor.


  There may be practical applications for this in space but on earth I highly doubt it will amount to more than some experimentation.

They've done that with a frog too.  It works on the principle that water is actually repelled by a magnetic field.

 Haha, I'd seen that too but had forgotten!   Yes same thing as spider but totally different from the semiconductor,electricity does strange thing at the extreme temps if we could maintain those temps cheaply we could solve the energy problem!
