Well, here's the story so far:

ATI fixed crossfire GPU utilization.
ATI fixed the monster micro stuttering issue.
I can now see my ping. No more joining 500ms servers.

The game doesn't play like complete poo-poo because of the above. But now they need to:

Remove the mouse deceleration from the game.
Fire the art director who mashed the contrast/blue tint levels.
Update the tacky commo-rose and add audio queues.
I would like to change my video settings without the game crashing (ATI)
Remove 3D spotting.
Remove unlocks from armour and air, or give everyone the same "perks" because it's just so unbalanced.
This one is very important. Make some true Battlefield style maps that aren't so linear or CoD-like. (64 players on Bazaar, WTF!!! A Battlefield doesn't take place in one alleyway!!!

What I'm happy about:

Prone's back
Run-strafe has been added.
Hit box/detection is good.
Bullet damage is balanced.
Vehicle disabled mechanic.

3D spotting's a server option.  IIRC.  But you can't filter for it in the server browser, that I've found yet.
The graphics contrast you might fix thru ATI control panel?

Have you played games where everyone's got full A2G/G2A unlocks?  That'd be when you can assess balance.  Right now it's non-stop flares if just 1-2 guys know what they're doing on the ground, but what about with all the unlocks?  Also it's too bad it looks like you can't "pilot" your way out of threats like missiles.  Your loadout predetermines what happens.

A squaddie's looking into TrackIR support.  That mouse look takes away your flight controls is moronic.

They're always full. Select your 'show full servers' option at the bottom left hand corner of your
search settings and join a queue

So whats the point of having only a set number of servers that are always full and making your customers wait 10  minutes to get into a game?  Sounds like bad business to me

Especially when I want to play with my friends but when we try to find a game, the best scenario is we get on opposite teams.

The problem is with their "art direction".

About the unlocks. New players have no chance in G2G (tank) or A2A combat when going up against another player with full unlocks. It's not a case of out performing the enemy, it's about who has the most unlocks.

What'd you guys think of the campaign?

I thought it was fun, beat it in about 5hrs, pretty short. Besides the mall bit, there wasn't a mission I absolutely hated, unlike alot of other games.

Last few missions were the best.

It was like watching an interactive film. Press <insert key here> every 5 minutes really slowed down the action. Don't get me started on the F-18 level...

I don't play FPS campaigns because the gameplay sucks. BF3 was no different.

I thought they copied black ops too much as far as the story line goes.

I bought Black-Ops but that console port was unplayable on P.C.

No, the art direction is excellent, except for this one thing.
Yes on the unlocks, that's what I'm saying.  It predetermines your sortie.  Not so sure about players not having a chance without all the unlocks.. I havent had much difficulty killing AC with just the basic engie G2A.

the F-18 level...
It catapults you to like 400 airspeed and you instantly slow to 200 as soon as airborne.  I was laughing my bellybutton off about halfway thru.  You see how they made jets literally hit an invisible wall and then fall to the ground if you go too high?  And when AC do fall free to auger, they dont even accelerate to terminal speed.   What a joke.

Well, in a nutshell: Two tanks meet, one has autoloader and the other doesn't. The tank with the "perk" has a massive advantage.

Could you imagine if you had a perk in Aces High that allowed you to pull 1 more G then everyone else.? 0_o
