Lol, spitfire Mk V maybe. But saying the 109F is better than the spitfire Mk XIV or XVI is just wrong.

Certian characteristics of it are better, but you certianly can't say it was better overall.

Pilot skill dude. Just because a good pilot can kill a late war plane with an EW one doesn't mean the EW plane is equal.

If thats what it meant, they never would have progressed past the 109F.

i killed many many many spit16s in my g6, often from alt disadvantage, many times in a rolling scissors fight. Once i tryed the spix, had no problems when scissoring with zeeks.
Does it mean the g6 is equal with the spixie? Or the spix can outmaneuver the zeek?
The 109F is a bit worse than the spixie in every aspect. Not as much, pilot skill can compensate the maneuverability differences, but its worse.
Imo the pilot is at least 50% while the rest is the plane.

not really sure, don't think I've ever seen him in game, but he's the guy that jumped into JOACH1M's goodbye thread and started slagging off his squad without knowing wtf he was talking about. I guess his hurt feelings got the better of him ;)

A CO best described as a real man of peace (thru strength -- of character) and awesome fighting skill (SA, shooting, and piloting) positions The Few as the coolest and BEST squad in AH without doubt.   :)

Top Gun is certainly a very strong nbr 2 though, IMHO.  :aok
