You know guys there were airplanes on that show too! No really!
But that Ariel is quite a gal. I doubt if she's acting though. My impression is that it was only when the TV crew came around that she suddenly found an interest in the business. She clearly hadn't a clue about much of what goes on there on a day to to day basis.
TV can be quite scripted, even so called reality TV but my main problem with shows like that is the big deal they make of what are in fact fairly routine operations. Cue dramatic music, the narrator sounds grim as he describe how Chuck or whoever is about to take off into a.......a....a crosswind
Still it's quite enjoyable. I'd love bush flying, but I wouldn't want to move to Alaska to do it.
