Coming December 16, 2011-- Jetweek in the AVA

starting Friday December 16, 2011 We will be running jetweek in the AVA. we will again use the korea map and we will be setting it up with no enemy icons. also we haven't decided yet on the GV setup, but it will be a good setup for those that like to use Ground Vehicles. there is a large city where Seoul should be and you are welcome to shoot it up and at each other with tanks.

all tanks and jets will be perk free. bring your friends and give it a whirl! the whole game changes when both sides have jets!

b29's will be released later in the week for perk free carpet bombing!

that means bad guys(IE red guys) have no icons, but your buddies do. we'll adjust it as necessary if it comes down to it.

I can see the appeal of no icons when the fights are slower and closer, particularly things like A6M2 vs F4F and such even if I don't like it myself, but it seems to me that the speed and distance at which maneuvers with jets happen would make for a poor mix.

From what I have been told and heard; jet week is one of the most popular weeks in the AvA even if icons are off.  To me that shows that people will fly and enjoy jet week even if they might not like enemy icons off.

The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

your opinions are based on what you think, not on what you know. i suggest you try it. remember, the other guy has a jet too, that changes the entire dynamics of the game. you'll find your opinion has nothing to do with fact. again its the busiest week of the year in the AVA. all the other people who like jetweek cant all be wrong.
