i think they're in the upper 3600 to upper 3700 range. they're not heavy by todays standards at all. still heavier than yesterdays cars though.

i just went and looked at the door jamb of mine. she's GVRW at 4600.

most fun engine ive owned was 98hp honda 1.4l in a civic. thrashing it to its 8000rpm redline made me grin every time :D

Any list that doesn't list the chevy SB at #1 is inherently invalid.

 WHEN I used to drive tow trucks, the shop i was at had a couple of super duty fords, with the 7.3 turbo diesel, one with an auto trans, one 5 speed.

 the 5 speed was amazingly quick, considering the weight of the truck. didn't feel it, but you'd look down at the speedo, and rather quickly decide to back down a little, before ya got nailed.
