a two day limit on Trinity
« on: December 10, 2011, 11:36:10 AM »
Enough of this 1/4 + of the month nonsense already.

Either limit it or redesign some aspects of it like blowing another pass or two through the mountains. or another couple of islands in the middle of the oceans

What limit would that be? Its been up nearly a week.
Was last month too.

I like trinity when there are the numbers for it. I still like it on a limited basis. When its up though its just too much a stalemate for too long

Same as with all maps: 7 days. After that, the terrain will change automatically.

There already is a limit. Maps reset after 7 days. So -1

Beside this is one of the best maps for GV's. You have 135 in the north and in the South there are 3 different places that produce a TON of GV battles. IMO it's one of the best maps we have and I look forward to it coming around in the rotation every month.

Time must fly for you because your weeks are shorter than my weeks.

I like Trinity.

Plenty of opportunities to gv spawn camp.

I've actually been flying on it more.

IIRC I've seen four different maps since last Friday.

Trinity is one of the best maps HTC has.  It offers the absolute BEST tank town offered in the MA's, too bad most "tankers" had to the circle jerk at 135  :bhead  .

Seriously though, Trinity offers it all.  What is not to like???  Wide open spaces, easy access fronts and enemy bases, fleets, etc etc.

No doubt on 3 consecutive days cause this one has been up for at least 4.

IMO Spawn camping is one of the absolute most lame aspects of the game. It in no way even remotely resembles anything like a tank or ground war.

Dont get me wrong. If you've drunken yourself down to about 3 braincells and just want to sit there mindlessly beerfarting and  bsmacking people every time they up before they even have a chance to shoot back at you it must be fantastic.

But it isnt anything even close to what a GV battle could or should be

I lot of guys stupidly think that rolling through maps will someday caused an previously unknown and awesome map to magically appear where donuts and lollipops fall from the sky.

Reminds me of certain drug types who think the next hit will be "the one" they have been waiting for.

Im not about rolling through maps either. I just dont see how trinity provides these great fights people are claiming. And no map should be up more then a couple of days. They just get old to look at
