Then its a .50 or .68cal BB, i think he was concerned about doing damage to things

The downside to that is when and if you miss you might end up cleaning just as many cars of paint splatters. Remember that paintball guns are not exactly accurate unless you mod them. It also depends on what kind of marker (gun) you have. FYI the average speed for a paintball is somewhere around 200 FPS. You can tune that higher or lower as well.

Man I searched for systems that get rid of em, cheapest way might be to just kill them, and I leave that method at your discretion

Wouldn't it be better to use a BB gun? more accuracy meaning your more likely to not miss and get paint splattered on someones car or window?

the idea with the pepperballs wasn't so much to actually shoot the birds with them, but shoot them up into the areas they nest. i'm sure the lingering pepper will deter them somewhat.........it's like i said...if i have to start poisoning them, i will....but i'd really rather not. i'd rather just chase em away.......

Make sure that it is legal to disturb the nests before you mess with them.  I had a problem with barn swallows when I first moved in to my apartment and thank god I checked the net before I disturbed the nest.  Turns out it's illegal in AR to disturb a swallow nest that has eggs in it.

What about an airsoft gun? Wouldn't kill them and you wouldn't have to worry about hurting any cars. I would think after you shot 'em enough times with an airsoft they wouldn't come back.

I have a full auto that cranks out 75 bb's in less than a minute. That would be perfect for shooting into a hoarde of birds with.
