My Grandfathers best friend wore a tie clip very similar to that (foggy memories from years ago). He was the gunner in my Grandfathers Fairey Swordfish.

The more i stare at this image, the more frustrated I get. The wings look American, the badge looks British and the crossed rifles look Australian. wtf?

Check the back and around the inside of the clasp for any kind of letters or marks. This might help identify it. The marks can be very small and hard to see, so use a strong light and magnifying glass if need be.  :cheers:
