A dark, rainy, cold afternoon...
« on: December 16, 2011, 09:05:16 AM »
...a cup of Earl Grey, Ella Fitzgerald singing and screen&desk full of Aces High charts & tables to work on... 8.8 cm Flak fire control utility, ranging tables, bomb release point diagrams, strategic mission flight plans... can life get any better?

A hooray for Dan Bricklin!  :rock

hmm just found out that if I would not quit AH in January but continue to play for the whole year, I could reach the mark of 20,000 level bombers destroyed... tough decision...   :headscratch:      :noid

I like Earl Grey. I'm definitely a man. The 2nd Earl GrayWas Lord was most probably a man, too. Is there something about Lord Gray's manhood that has been hushed?

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Actually right now it's some (rather dubious)  Darjeeling, and later in the evening I will switch to Ostfriesen with Grümmelkandis

I whish I were like him, so I could just think of my AH Stats compilation and say "Make it so!" with someone else doing the actual work  :old:

Just reading about Bricklin in Accidental Empires. by Bob Cringely. Pretty fascinating stuff about he came up with the spreadsheet idea in the first place, and the early marketing of it and the patent fights.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

I totally agree. Earl Grey tastes like the soap wasn't rinsed off the cup properly.

You're going to need a 12 step program to quit this game.  :lol
