Lusche gets it. People used to run a Mission of the Month a long time ago. I just wanted to get something started. :)

I can't decide if I like flying in the MoMs or attacking them...  One way or another they're great and I am sure many people would like to the return.

I have a better idea...

How about you have a MoM forum which all 3 countries have access to. This way, it is far easier to arrange when a country will have 100+ flying in one sector and the other countries will know ahead of time to avoid it to prevent ruining your massive mission.

Also, all the countries can take bases in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction and never have to see any opposition, what so ever. Whoever takes the most bases in the shorter period of time, wins!

Well... short notice, but look out this Friday night. ;) Hope we can get some takers.

I have no idea what the situation will be in the MA, but I bet it'll be fun for both sides. :)

You know as well as I do that having 15+ formations of bombers with escort is more than enough to overwhelm any defender, particularly when they are at high alt. When this happens, you might as well not have any opposition at all.

Feel free to continue to attack me, it only gives greater credence to my argument.

The MoM are exactly what we need.
Big bomber missions, flown in regular formations at appropriate altitudes with escorts roaming ahead and above. Interceptors trying to get themselves into position. Rookies fighter pilots fighting with compression as much as with the enemy. Bomber stragglers being swarmed by piranhas.

And as far as open notification on BBS or 200 goes... you guys have to be kidding me. You know there is a mission coming up, and you have the dar at your disposal, where you can spot that mission literally ages before it even crosses the front lines. You want it even easier? Need exact target and TOA so that you can be at the right time at the right place to blast the bombers out of the sky without any effort?
Where is the fun in that?

Exactly... in the past, I saw a certain Jug squadron come down and take out the hangers at a field. Instead of augering for more eggs, they covered each other in a game of leapfrog all the way home while the few of us tried to engage them.

They could of done it with 30 people in the mission, but instead did it with 6 guys, more than one brain between them (unlike the huge missions), and it was far more impressive.
