how much does your cooling system cost approximately Lawn? and how about a parts list thats needed for a basic setup? Thinking on doing a couple things to my case, such as painting my interior silver and maybe putting on a window in place of that monster fan and the mesh on it.

If you are looking at doing a window for the left side .... they make one already ..

As for the water cooling I have the Swiftech H20-220 water kit.

Everything is included and easy to install. The only thing I changed was the reservoir I had, I got this instead..

I have the i5 2600k and I am getting temps around 30* Celsius. The cooler is good for the 1155 and 1156 chipsets, and the 775 if I remember.

it says it fits all current intel processors.  but doesnt give a list.

I have this cooler while it uses air still keeps my cpu around 50 even at full speed.  at idle around 35.

For a while I Was looking at that cooler, but then I did my research on water cooling, and if done right it looks more aesthetically pleasing. on top of extra performance that is.

You really spend alot of time looking at the inside of your box?

Nuth'n personal I just never understood the whole window to the inside of the case.
I care that ti works and works well. Moreso tha tthe layout and components are functional rather then how aesthetically pleasing they look.
My case sits under my desk when 90% of the time I never even look at the front let alone the inside.
And if i were to set it up so I could see in sinde of itat a glance even. It would be in the way. Or I'd have to put it in such a place that I'd much rather store something else.

It's kindda like being single and yet everyday you put on some cool underwear.  it doesnt really help you the way you look but it does make you feel better.

:lol

by performance I meant temps. although, I coulda said that instead  :lol

one other question, when I do the watercooling (if I do) would I have any reason to keep excess fans on my system? may be a stupid question, but it's one of those questions I debate over.

The water cooling only helps your cpu. Fans are needed to blow air out of due to rest of components.   Your gpu produces a lot of heat.
