"A C-4 detonator"
« on: January 10, 2012, 03:07:53 PM »
So as I was teaching my C.A.P. cadets how to use a Little L-Per Direction finder, I held it up and asked them what it was. I picked on a cadet who raised his hand and guess what he said, completely seriously, "A C-4 detonator". This is what video games do to kids these days.

If I were to crash my plane the ELT would go off and cp101 would come find me with his L-Per

I'd assume it's the little distress beacon that goes off when the pilot f's up.

That word is strangely familiar, isn't that the plane Identification tag? I recall off a show about 9/11, when the terrorists hijacked the planes they turned them off so the radar controllers couldn't see the id of the plane, i'm sure i'm wrong but its worth a guess
