Looking for an early CO team for each side.  We are providing an outline of the planes, and plenty of time to team build and practice the advantages and disadvantages of each plane matchup.

I think the most interesting thing will be the ground war and how it reflects on everything else in the scenario. Can you imagine having to either level bomb GVs at 500 AGL and risk taking fire from the ground or dive bombing through thick fog a few hundred feet above the ground and risk not being able to pull out in time? The fast Allied armor moving fast into German held territory with their M18s, M16s and M3s against picket lines of Panzers, Panthers and Tiger lying in wait?

This is exactly how I hoped a repeat of DGS would be.. kudos to the CM team.   :salute

I was thinking something radical, like giving the RAF tempests and the Luftwaffe Me262s.
I lol'd.

:rofl

What I meant was, will there be dedicated squads with these planes or volenteer pilots from other squads, ala Battle Over Germany?

No TA152 love?

Makes me sad.

When this event is set they have been in production for about a month and already had a squad.

So you won't fly this then because of that?  That would be kinda sad.

It would be a bit like an Allied flyer suggesting that because it was true that the numbers should be 10 - 1 or more in favor of the Allies.

Just get your LW guys interested and come kill all the Allied pilots instead :)

I've read his post and tossed it through every google translator option out there and can't see where he said he isn't flying  :D

You've been already volunteered for Stukas Devil 505.  No 262 for you! :)

I'm thinking about taking a P47.

It says P47D20 on the original post, would I be correct in my assumption it is the D25 model?

I never said I would not fly. When I first saw the date I thought yes 152s then was quickly disappointed. I was disappointed because 152 is my main ride not because of any LuftWhiner agenda.

I wouldnt fly a Stuka against the Poles nevermind the Western Allies. Not sure what ride I want, all my favorite fighters are obsolete by this point.

There's the g14 . . . Not exactly the same, of course, but a good plane that is similar.

Separate CO's on each side for the GV Battle

Hmm I would be interested.  I CO'd the tanks in Tunisia and Red Storm/Krupp Steel and had an absolute blast.  Keep me in mind as a reserve.
If someone who hasn't done it before would like the job, I think it would be more fair for them to have it. :salute

Show me that they had G-2s in service, I will save you the time, they did not on the western front.

And for the TA-152s, they were not up to speed in February and not used on the western front tactical fights.
