I knew I was getting pretty deadly in B24's, I didn't expect to make the list...  I still think I should have made the 110C-4 listing. :(

The G4M had only 908 kills in 2011, that's only 0.02% of all registered kills in the late war arena. Only the D3A and the SdKfz 251 (the epitome of Hangar Queen) had less.

If someone drops a lucky bomb on a airfield VH that just came up and starts to spew out WW's, he might be "top killer" in the Betty even when never flying a sortie again in that year ;)

First off Lusche, A big thank you  :aok and a snappy salute  :salute for all your hard work. After my first full year in AH, to be recognized in one of the real Nishizawa's actual ww2 mount's is very gratifying.

It is that love of history and the desire to pay a proper homage to my namesake that compels me to reluctantly ask for the following consideration. Regarding the A6M5's rankings, you may or may not deem the extenuating circumstance of a name change warrants an exception/caveat/asterisk, but at the start of April's tour I changed my name from ARSNishi to Nishizwa.

At the risk of appearing petty and unappreciative of your time and efforts, with the name change factored in I know that would give me the most M5 kills (3020) and I'm very curious as to whether or not it would change the top 3 rankings.  The can of worms this may open and the slippery slope that it presents may be more than you want to deal with and I understand that completely.

   :salute. Nishizwa

I don't fly all that much, so if my name should appear in Lusche's stats, it'll be related to an early war or low use fighter. I managed best K/D in the P-39Q and the P-40N in tour 143. Likewise, I had the best K/D in the Typhoon as well, but since I ranked only 11th in total kills, it disappears in the stats.

Maybe someone has already inquired.
But I assume these stats are for fighter mode only? Or is it a combined fighter/attack overall?

Whenever I am shot down, I ride the chute all the way to the ground.

If I am near an enemy or friendly field and there is action there, I sneak up approaching from the proper radial and use buildings and trees to cover from the auto ack.

If done right, you can get near where the planes spawn and simply put rounds into planes that spawn near you.

A Vguys mission spawned right in front of me so I put a single round into the cockpit of 16 different planes.

5 minutes later, I was rewarded with a whole buffer worth of kills when they all bailed together because they had been discovered.

Whenever I shoot someone down and see him riding his chute all the way, I bail nearby in the hopes of a foot chase shootout.
16 rounds?? I want your 45!

I'm sure it's based purely on the "Plane Stats" for Late War Tours.

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/scores/planes.php

You can break it down based on number of kills in a particular ride. You can sort by name, number of kills, number of deaths, or K/D ratio in any vehicle or plane.

Pick a tour. Click on the name, not on Kills or Deaths, and sort away.

One more thing. The current tour will only sort by name as the numbers are still changing.
