Interesting film.  The HO shot and the high quarter attack looked like they would work reasonably well given that you are flying a Meteor with a 100mph speed advantage and more alt than the B29 at 30K ft.   I'm not so sure we can duplicate this in a Ta-152 since the speed and alt difference is not as great, but it looks like something to try.

One thing I noticed was that they recommended starting a HO attack at 12 MILES out in front of the B-29 group and breaking above the group - getting way out in front might be a bit tougher in non-jet aircraft.

Good find though!

Finding a set of B29's would be nice  :)

You must anticipate them.  You need to be where they are going to be, not where they are.  2 days ago I guessed correctly, watched him fly 5 sectors gaining alt by just the dar bar, guessed correctly where he would hit, was waiting at 32k when he came in for his first drop and smacked him while he was in the bombsite, poof.

You have to want it, there will be distractions that will pull you away unless you remain committed and focused.
Wag more, bark less.

In that film, I had seen them pass another base 2 sectors NE of where I'd upped my 110, I knew where he was going and DAR was up there, even so, he could have easily outrun and out-climbed me. He kept trying to turn in front of me, shortening the intercept distance. B-29's best defense= straight speed, altitude & endurance.   :salute
