Can they please add the Fiat G.55 Centauro already??? This plane is way overdue. I remember them talking about adding it when the VC Sherman Firefly was added to the game. G.55 would own everything....  :t

The Fiat G.55 Centauro (Italian: "Centaur") was a single-engine single-seat World War II fighter aircraft used by the Regia Aeronautica and the A.N.R. (Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana) in 1943-1945. It was designed and built in Turin by Fiat. The Fiat G.55 was,[2] probably the best type produced in Italy during World War II, but it did not enter production until 1943.[3] During its short operational service, mostly under the Repubblica Sociale Italiana insignia, after the 8 September 1943, this powerful, robust and fast aircraft proved itself to be an excellent interceptor at high altitude.[4] In 1944, over Northern Italy, the Centauro clashed with British Supermarine Spitfire, P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt and P-38 Lightning. Italian fighter pilots liked their Centauro but by the time the war ended, only less than 300 had been built.[2]

Yes it served in at least 3 italian squadrons that flew C.205s, g.55s and 109s

I have detailed reports from the Italian Air Force from '44 May to the end of the war from day to day.
It says there were only a few G55s, but they seen heavy action til '44 late August, when the whole air force was equipped with 109s.
About as many units were equipped with G55s as with C205s. The pilots liked the C205 better tho.

and 5min 50sec = 350 seconds.

So it takes 350 seconds to climb to 19,685 feet.

19685/350 = 56.24 feet for each second climbed

56.24X60 to convert feet into minutes = 3374.4FPM climb rate average to 19685 feet.

2nd: I'd like to see the current Stromboli planes get a revamp before we get newer ones  :lol
