Yeah.

Everything around that are bases from where people take off to go to TT.

I spent a day fartin around with the 88, finally starting to land hits - took out vDallas and 3 others attacking a V-base, its best used on a fighter if the fighter is diving straight in on the base, take his range and minus 200 yards or depending his speed - could be up to 600 yards for a lead shot.

Not sure exactly, but he was 5.5k away - I set the range for 4.9k and took a wing off.

Now when I fly around an airbase looking for a fight instead of upping the first thing happens is 88's start going off.....thats retarded.

On the other hand I can see how they will be very effective when defending a base against hords.

The Horde's winning... nothing spells "ruined" when you are trying to duel over tank town and two v-bases have tards trying to hit you with an 88.

I swear, some of you guys cry like little girls at the slightest wiff of change.

The 88's are totally ineffective. Eventually everyone, except a dedicated few, will figure that out and seldom use them anymore.

Got some kills in the 88s but it took some practice getting the range right and leading the target at the same time. Took out a few planes and killed a GV with the ap also. Fighters in TT very hard to pin down as thier range is constantly shifting.

We need a kill message for 88s instead of a generic X landed X kills in a "gun ship or field gun"

I got killed yesterday while I was 5-8k out of a base by a 88s....

I sometimes get killed when I am flying around enemies CVs by enemie puff ack...

I sometimes get killed when I am chasing an enemy bomber over my friendly CV. My puff ack kills me while he flies straight ahead...

I don't like 88's at all.

Ive fired about 75-100 rounds from the 88 and have only managed to kill a lanc at 3k with i think was a direct hit because it went boom. i have had shells bursts very close to target and they didn't "show" any effects. even when your good with the 88 i think its explosive/shrapnel charge is way to small to be afraid of, on top of that its not easy to used. the 88 is lame compared to the 5''.  Fear not the 88 fear the proxy 5''.  though i do love the interactiveness of the 88
