Need to find some .22LR pistols that are supressed.  A .22LR is plenty to scramble a zombie's brain.  Much quieter and you can definitely carry a lot of ammo.

That must have been at the start . I missed the very first of it .
So they never showed how the walkers got started in the first place ?

Nope they didn't show how walkers got started and the director said they have no intrest in doing an explanation.

My guess, if the show lasts a few seasons but starts to fade, they may introduce a story line involving how it all started to reinvigorate ratings.  Just my guess though.

That was covered in the first 30 minutes of Episode 1.

People got sick and became walkers. Get bit, you're a walker. End of story.

The webisodes offer some insight.  They depict how the walkers seen in the opening credits and during the pilot episode went from being alive to becoming walkers.  They're all short and worth checking out if you're a fan of the show.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I will have to check that out .
I kind of figured like PFactorDave said . Maybe it was a good thing to leave that part open just for that reason .
