Thats cool. Never seen the markings on a canopy like in the last photo before.

Yeah, first time I've seen it also.  In the past conferences, there has been a single F-86 in attendance. This is the first time I've seen three.  During the morning walk around on Saturday, I met a gentleman with all of his past squadron patches on his flight jacket .  He had flown the F-86, F-102, and F-106 during his career.  We talked a bit, but he had some serious drool going as he headed to the F-86s.

They look like they are use for degree of clime or dive when in a dog fight.

I think they were used for air to ground references to set up dive angles.

Excellent pictures as always. Sure wish I hadn't missed out on that this year.

That A-36 was pretty sharp looking. Like a fastback except more angular and utilitarian. And the jug... with that paint and shine it looks like a left tackle in a tux. Man I wish I wouldn't have missed that. Thanks for posting the pictures.
