There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Looks like it will be a barn burner! I like the thought process with the what if portion.

Actually the reg link is only for new squads, if you are already part of an fso squad you are already registered.

Nef:

This is a great example of a "What if mission".  Kudos to the CM's for this one.  I read the story line twice LOL

I would really like to see more of this type of thinking and design.  New scenario's like this really make the FSO special.

Thanks again to the CM crew that went to a lot of hard work so that "I" could have fun  :salute

And now................... The FSO solid gold dancers!!!

Are we held to FSO rules such as commitment?

i.e. If I do not make my minimum commitment do I get yelled at? Or is this purely optional.

Not trying to be a stick in the mud here, but.  I just ran the 109 E and F's vs some squaddies in the F4F, and the 109F is almost untouchable if flown smart at all.  Shouldn't these be limited to say 24, like the brewsters for the allies.  Just a thought.

This plane set was a tough one. The main reason the 109F is not limited is that By December of 1941 the main Luftwaffe fighter from France to Russia was the 109F. The 109E was added and required to make sure there was diversity in the Luftwaffe ranks as there still would be some 109E equipped staffels in Germany.

I would also like to add that FSO is a little more than just a few simple dogfights between squaddies. Escorting dive bombers and torpedo planes and defending attacks from all angles and altitudes makes flying a certain plane to its strengths sometimes difficult or even impossible.

Thanks Nefarious,

I understand your reasonings, I just hope it doesn't make it as lopsided as it looks on paper.  We'll have fun either way, and if it goes bad it'll help us work on clearing each others 6's and making a fighting retreat :lol

Brewsters will be more effective vs 109s than you think.
