That is a shame. Only 54. I didnt know Mac well but he was one of those guys that seems to have always been around. If I remember correctly I knew him from all the way back in AW. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

He was in bad shape from Back injuries and Diabetes complications.   Fred and I would chat on the phone a couple times a month from 2003-2009.    Fred will be missed by myself and others.

Save a seat for me Fred.  :rock

Back in AW FR, Mac was 1 of the 1st people to make me want to learn how to fly fighters. He would shoot me repeatedly, over and over. I searched and searched for a plane I could learn and beat him with. It didn't happen for about a year and a half but finally in a yak I finally was able to win a fight.

He more than any single person provided the angst for me to learn and get better in this silly game and of course started my love of the 38 <G>. We weren't great friends or any thing but I respected him as he was of of my first menacing mentors all those years ago.

I will never forget him

 :salute Mac
