Real Hanger Queens
« on: March 21, 2012, 06:22:56 AM »
Hello,

Many player claim this or that plane Hanger Queen when they very wrong.  See these planes all time (Bufflo, I-16, P-40s etc.). Daily! So AH has done good job that no many plane Hanger Queen as many think!  :aok

If could only name 2 plane to be Hanger Queen = Spit I and Hurr I  (still I see these weekly!!!).

How bout you.  In you xperience, if you to pick just two plane that are Hanger Queen which it be?

P-51D and the Spixteen, they're way too over used. I'd love them to be hangar queens.

Think the biggest hanger queens are Japanese and German bombers.

Then you would be wishing that the next two most common planes would be hangar queens. And then the next two.

Nope.  KI-67's and AR234's are abundant in the MA.

Ki-61
109E (only one guy flies this thing :))
A6M2
F4U-1
F4F
Ju-87
D3A1
B5N
Boston III
P40s (Maybe one or two, but I've never met a P40 ace)
La-5 (still a bit rare)
SBD-5
G4M
P47D11
Spitfire I
Hurricane I
Hurricane 2D

These are all planes that I see maybe once or twice a week. They're not bad planes, they're just too slow for the MA and everyone runs from them. Hurri2D, Ki61 and P47D11s are fun every now and then for me. Hurri2D is great if you can sucker a poor sap into a fight or overshoot. Boom they go.

I usually seem them as often as ones a month. Think that qualifies as hanger queen.

There are people who could dominate in it if they weren't so worried about their score. ;)
