Retirement from Special Events
« on: March 21, 2012, 09:18:53 PM »
I've had to make an important decision after many weeks of contemplation.  Last month, I received my calling to become a Missionary for the Lord outside the United States.  I'm now enrolled in a two year Bible study program to facillitate that calling.

With this new life altering change, I now have no free time to devote to participation in scheduled Special Events.  DWDing (AKBmzawy) is due for railroad retirement in 2 months and has decided on cancelling his account for spending more time with family and traveling.

We have decided to disband the squad for both MA and Special Events.  132 DW Bomber Group will be officially inactive starting in April.

I'll be keeping my account for Aces High and play from time to time when I can.  I'll be changing my in-game call sign to just Kuya.  You'll never know when I might be there for a FSO frame to fly bombers when I get a chance.

I would like to thank all the CM's for running these events.  The squad CO's for trying to keep us in bombers 95% of the time.

I would like to thank the Arabian Knights for 4 years of camaderie especially AKWxman, AKDogg, AKKaz, AKHoopy, AKZiff and AKPepprr, AK's from the 613th Pariah, and AKSleepy.

I wish the FSO community well and look forward to hearing it grow back to 500 every Frame or higher.

May God bless you all.

Congrats! Will your squad be participating in the march 30th event?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Good luck Kuya, or better yet May the Lord bless your endeavors. I grew up on the mission field with my parents in Central Africa back in the 60's. Lots of GOOD memories and unique experiences. The Lord takes care of His own. May the Lord give fruit for your labor, we will keep you in prayer.
