The Yak3 and 9 are more different than you may think, they did not evolve from a common branch. The Yak1/3 are the lightweight series, the Yak7/9 the heavyweight series.

blah I would love to fly the Yak more, just the gun package I am lucky to get 2-3 kills plus a Ju87 here and there.

BUMP because this thread is more fun an interesting than the "Look at the Vtards" post. To each their own if Vtards wanna fight 30 vs 2 get 2 kills and cap a base.. its their choice however poor it is.

So back to the Yak3 another great addition would be a Ki-44-ia Tojo 4 20mms never hurt anyone (much)

The only Ki-44 that carried 4x 20mm cannons was the Ki-44-IIIa and only 3 were created.

Another prototype had 4x 40mm for B-29 intercepting, only 2 created.

However the Ki-44-IIc had 2x 12.7mm and 2x 20mm and over 400 created.

The Ki-44-IIa and IIb both had four 12.7mm guns, and that is quite usable.  One version of the Ki-44-II had two 40mm recoilless rifles, but the muzzle velocity on them was very low.

The B-29 was announced as the winner of the poll on 11/10/2010 and version 2.23 with the B-29 was released on 2/22/2011, per the front page.  Three months, twelve days.

If this is the case and using the plane length philosophy on page 1 then we can identify a feet per day production number (ft. / # of days = ft. per day) and put that into a basic equation to determine the due date of the 410.

Here goes:
The B-29 is 99ft long and was completed by AH in 3 months and twelve days. (Using Karnack’s beginning and completion date above)
So take 99 feet / 3 months and 12 days (104 days) = .95 feet per day or 11.4 inches per day
So now we know that AH can make a plane at .95 ft. per day.

Now let's apply this theory to the 410 production.
The Me410 is 41.2 ft. in length.  So take 41.2 ft. / .95 ft. per day = 43.36 days or 1 month and 12.4 days.

Someone here knows when the poll ended and the 410 was announced that it would go into production. So take the beginning date and add or count off 43 days. That is when the 410 will be finished.....unless 30 more patches for trackir get in the way.

No, but I can reach 5k in a matter of seconds, and I'll retain more energy after reaching 5k than the A8 has. Asside from that little band of altitude thats not even fully 4000ft high, the A5 is faster than the A8 at low altitude.

Sorry, but A5 = Yak-3, A8 = Yak-9.
Equal? No. Maybe directly proportional.
