Sunset-Sunrise
« on: April 22, 2012, 03:59:43 PM »
Can we get the other half of the day? This would be a simple fix/addition to realism.

All the hunters saw of planes at night were the blue exhaust from the pipes of all the aircraft. That would be cool as hell! Did we forget about the  night raids that occured?  :headscratch:

We used to have night. You can still have night in custom arenas.

Yep, we had it in the event earlier this evening - great night-bombing!  :D  I really miss the night....

Thanks Flossy, I forgot to mention Special Events (where the realism is alive and doing well).  :D

it would be nice to get night back, sure i knew all the problems with it but maybe at one day per week we should get the night back, or maybe ony on a few maps should be night aviable.
if someone dont like the night we have other arenas not like the old days.
please bring back the knight.

the thing about night is ... its dark and you cant see anything.

Ive flown a nightime scenario, and its almost impossible to fight when you cant see the enemy's attitude. you think its going to be fun, and its not.

i knew that, and i liked the noe flights into enemy teritory and the tracers of the ack.
by the way its isn t so dark, sure its hard to spot an enmy but thats a chalenge too.
and im not talking about 6houer night, maybe a maximum of a houer with sunrice and sunset you may have a realy dark night of 10 mins.

that would be good for bomber missions and night fights which could be able to spot enemy icons over 12k or so :-)

it isnt as bad as you say, night time never stopped me to fly. And how i say, i do not want a long time night, a smal night would be enought and i sayed it should be only in one arena at onece, so everyone can do have the option to choce night or not.

ok, again:

i have alredy done that in 2002 the big moon was bright enought so dont tell me its to dark for fliing. you can fly evrywere and can bomb everthing and aircombad was posible too, but sure keeping an aye on the enemy was not so easy. But hay, im sure we all can handel that for maybe a 30mins that one day.

all that anti night propaganda lol

air comBAD is the word indeed  :aok

-1 for night, most people (including me) would just log out at night. And all these planes  (except the lanc) are not meant to fly at night so it would not be realistic in any way.
