Yes, this.  And all the feed the children, save the animals type commercials.  I would donate to them if they could guarantee I'd never have to see their commercial again.  But they can't guarantee that, so I just change the channel.  Because if that commercial is on once, it'll be on again in ten minutes.

Actually all commercials by charities, except perhaps in the event of a natural disaster, I hate.  When I donate to a charity, I do my research.  I never blindly reach for the wallet.  I assume that if you're spending money looking for donations, you're wasting $5 to get $10.  Yes, you the charity get more money for yourself, but its very inefficient for everyone else.

i surf away whenever a commercial comes on.

 that being said, i've noticed that i could be going between channel a, and channel b. after about 2 times cycling back and forth to avoid commercials, it seems that they both suddenly have commercials on at the same time. i'll then find a third channel. same thing. then a fourth channel. same thing. it makes me want to think that it is deliberate.
