K/D Champ
« on: May 01, 2012, 10:17:08 PM »
Recently noticed something unusual... a fighter with a higher k/d than the Spit14, the F4U-1A, the expertly flown 38J (<S> 80th) or the Ta152.  In fact, with a k/d of 1.81, this aircraft outscored all other non-perked rides last tour.  So here's to the P47D-25 drivers for getting the most out of a 25ENY battlemace.  Special kudos go out to Oakranger and DejaVu from throwing off the k/d metric-nicely done.

I love the fact that nobody thinks the -25 is good when(rarely) I fly a jug that's(usually) my  choice its a jack of all trades from what I understand(numerous threads with good imput from Jug drivers), and  alot of people misjudge it Juggler, Jughead back me up! It's been awhile since I've flown it as I'm trying to learn the Axis planes but I will stand by the -25.

who cares if it flies good.

the real reason to fly it is because it looks good.

sorry for the bad news, but I was bored.

well considering that only 316 players flew it last month and 10 players got more than 1/2 of the kills while 7 players got 1/4 of all the deaths.  then it's not really that impressive.

actually 1 guy got 15% of all the kills while having about 9% of all the deaths.  which kindda tells you more of the player than the airplane itself as being good since 42% of those who made the list had no kills and at least 1 death.

I think Letalis was fully aware of that fact, especially as he mentioned it himself "Special kudos go out to Oakranger and DejaVu from throwing off the k/d metric-nicely done." ;)

3.00 in the 25 last month, by far the best ratio of any other plane I flew last month.

But how does it stack up in K/T?  I like flying the Jugs, especially the D11 and D25, but it certainly seems to be a time sink to climb to alt in one.
