I can't get fresh lamb where I live.  Could I use ducklings?
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I'll probably go with beef then when I try.  We do have fantastic beef here in Iowa since it's cheaper to feed them corn than grass.

Somedays I miss being a butcher.

I don't cook with chicken and rodents stay where they lay.

Thanks Jimmy.  It's a slightly modified version of the recipe I posted on the previous page.  I added roasted corn and mushrooms to the filing and added thyme and garlic to the potatoes while they cooked.

Between making the mashed, grilling the corn, and the rest of the prep, it was 2.5 hours before they were done.  (I made 2 pies, one venison and 1 beef) I doubled the recipe so I have mix for 2 more pies I'll freeze for another day.  :aok

While the taters were cooking, I had a few beers with my grill and the Cabernet was used for the recipe.

wow
dont know much about grilling corn
does it make it nuttier....my first thought, not quite sure why
sounds scrumptious
obviously keeping well lubricated during cooking is part of the fun,
seems like you love good food, me too
I figure you eat everyday, make it amazing, it can only add to your day
it takes a bit of effort but not much and is it effort if you enjoy it,
eating, friends and a roof over your head...thats life....do em well and its a great life
