Small maps

Love those things. Upped 43 the other day on the old map and went over to A1. Lot of action there. However only managed one kill and the action died out, literally. Then looked at the map and v71 and a33 were under heavy attack. Figured I would head over that way. Landed at 50, rearmed and headed that way. Only about 2 or 3 sectors from 50. Slowly climbed to 17 or 18k. Just as I was about to get there I saw a low set of lancs coming right toward me. Hurled my f41a at them and soon they were gone. Finally made it to 33 where I saw a p51 running the wrong way and then he had to climb out over the mountains. Kill 5. Landed a happy man.

If it had been a large map probably would have had to land with just the one kill. Action dies fast on any map at any particular base and having the ability to keep flying looking for fairly close action is nice.

Agree with you on small maps. Only one I don't care for is the square one with no water...Mesa perhaps?
