I would like to add to this wish: the ability to CHANGE formations.  Line Astern/Abreast, Echelon Right/Left, with the use of a .formation <number here>.  An example of how they could be numbered: Combat Box (Default) 1, Line Astern 2, Line Abreast 3, Echelon Right 4, Echelon Left 5.

I like this idea. If you get them lined up better I can get all three in one pass much easier.

true but why bombers like it is you can tighten the formation to more effectively use your bombs on one target or spread them out to be more effective on a town or city center

Things are tilted in buffs favor as it is: accuracy & defensive firepower.

No, says I.

Oh, I might argue that, Hap.  ;) 91st has had it happen both ways. There are those interceptors that come in as whole planes on a shallow trajectory, something we can handle quite easily, and end up exiting out of the formation in pieces. Then, there are those enemy pilots that really take their time and come in at high angles- harder for us to track & lead. More challenging, and the outcome is less certain.

Fun stuff. :aok

I think of myself as that guy.  If I have nothing else at least I have patience.  I think the fighter always has the upper hand when flown correctly, only he can decide that he is damaged too much and break off, the buff, he must endure.

Some of you may have noticed that my favorite thing next to hunting and killing buffs is escorting them.  Once you have polished your attack then you will also know how to defend buffs you are escorting.  My third favorite thing is killing the first 2 buffs and then letting the last one go.  They must be outbound after the drop and not have alot of other fighters attacking them or I may as well kill them myself.  I've flown buffs plenty, I know how frustrating it is wanting to get that last one home.  Throw em a salute, go on private channell, tell them I'm off and happy landings................very fun.

I wish people would use the wish list forum to post their brilliant ideas, and be smart enough to not post all their stupid ones.

But I am under no disillusions of my wish ever being fulfilled.
