No. Plain and simple....

My fiancee's brother messed around with one and messed up in two ways.

1. Joked about the "spirits"
2. Didn't say "goodbye" - just put the board away....

Vanessa has a blog that tracks the events that happened in that house after that. Everything from stuff randomly falling off the walls, footsteps on the floor, locked doors opening on their own, moving shadows, and a conversation I had around 3AM with what I THOUGHT was her brother (I was playing AH in the living room with no lights on) but come to find out, he wasn't even home that night.

Stay away from that stuff man. I carry a Saint Christopher with me everywhere I go now and I'm not even Catholic.
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

What do you mean by Familiar ?

The Bible refers to Familiar spirits as those who serve the adversary...It's great if you thinks its stupid or a bunch of nonsense or whatever, as long as you leave it alone...just sayin'.  :salute

Don't take these kinds of things lightly,  Dolby. This is serious business dealing with spirits.

I tried a ouija board once....it was horrible...just awful... I kept thinking I was seeing things every night when I turned a corner... and I would hear this noise, a ...a crunching noise, as if someone were eating a handful of cheez its...then one day... hovering in front of me in the closet I saw it...I giant...horrifying FULL sack of cheez its! then I got muted   :furious

Leviticus 19:31  ¶ Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

Isaiah 8:19   19  ¶ And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

2 Kings 21:6   6  And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Here we go....

I will add that they are totally bogus. At a party we had "spirits" talking to us. Then we blindfolded anyone who used the board. It was amazing how horrible the spirits began to talk when PEOPLE can't see
