Great info. I fly the PonyD most of the time. I use a (dot)speed 260 for climb outs. The ideal speed setting is 175 MPH indicated, though a climb speed of 260 is excellent. Up through 15k+ it remains close to 2,000/ftmin, and by the time the PonyD is above 15k actual speed is well over 300mph. Solid rate of climb though the biggest advantage is speed to fight/manuever speed of bounced by a higher con.

I get what the gastropod is saying, makes perfect sense. Now if there was a course in how to aim those dang tater guns...(I mean a course in crayons)
