Abraham Lincoln......Vampire Hunter
« on: July 01, 2012, 08:50:21 PM »
I heard of the title and thought it was a joke.

Ok, its not a joke.

Well then it had to be a comedy.

My wife asked me to go see it with her.

It had to be like those Twilight vampire flicks, filled with young hunks and hot chicks.

Turns out it was none of the above.

This movie ROCKED!!!! Ol' Honest Abe made Blade look like an amatuer.

The actors were cool, the costumes and sets dragged you right back to the period.

It was in 3D, but not the kind that made ya feel funny after 20 minutes.

All in all? I enjoyed this film more than anything I've seen in years.

Don't believe the "pinky up" drivel you read from critics, read the "user" reviews.

Highly recomended.
"Life is just as deadly as it looks"  Richard Thompson

"So umm.... just to make sure I have this right.  What you are asking is for the bombers carrying bombs, to stop dropping bombs on the bombs, so the bombers can carry bombs to bomb things with?"  AKP

Till he cleans out the Twilight set....I say fork him. Wanna read a good book tho? Read Killing Lincoln by Bill O Rielly. Lotta info in that book that I was surprised to see..it was seriously well written.

I actually have high hopes for this movie. It won't be a box office blockbuster, but I think it will stand up over time. Brilliant script.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

When this book was first released the audible version went to #1 immediately and was highly recommended by critics for months afterwards.

I never knew one of your Presidents was a vampire hunter :old:

I thought he was President of the Union army in what was a very destructive and monumental episode in the creation of what is now the USA :old:

I am not a colonial but find this sort portrail of a historical figure disturbing :old:
