Infantry + Briefings
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:03:16 PM »
I have an Idea, the use of infantry in the game , we could have battalions attack fields, they would be ai and have to be player commanded. They would not be able to take the base without tank and or air support ,  they would could be reinforced and resupped  by paras and troops from m3s, , bases would have automatic  ai that spawned when they are attacked,  the ai infantry would take up defensive postions around town and field, but yet they can not hold with out air or armor support, and they could be reinforce by the air or ground like  the offensive infantry,  and their defenisve postions could have pillboxs with player mannable M2HBs , how bout you put your thoughts, suggestions and ideas down below, idk ,  infantry , cas, and reinforcement/resupply could be a fun element to the game, we need a few new elements to the game , make the game more enjoyable and playable, also , a virtual briefing room that mission planner's could require mission particepents to be brief  to make misions fun, like a sandtable, and maybe even seperate the players into diffrent flights, squadrons, teams , etc., and have plans for the diffrent flights and seperate targets and such,  through your ideas below us

hes not talking about troops I personally think if HTC where to bring in infantry it would add another element to the game that we already have and probably get more players which means more $$$ cha ching in there wallets not like AI stuff cause thats a little gamey but maybe a FPS type deal like COD or something have sinpers, regular infantry with M1s and thompsons along with antitank personal with a bazooka or panzershcerk

just my 2 cents want to talk more on this subject but its getting late here in MO I think it would be a great addition to the game no doubt

Iam saying AI that we can deploy from bases, they can be marched or transported to the fight, it would be an element that would require air and ground support, so idk,

it wouldn't work like cod there would be no "aim assit" there would be no no names above the players unless friendly you would have sit in your gun like you do on the tanks for long range accuracy it would very simply to how it works it would work almost like the GVs I personally think it would be a great addition i wouldn'y mind hitech stepping in on this just to see what he has to say about if it could be implemented in to the game
