A JG11 First!

In May of 2009, a player approached me looking for a home in JG11.  It was obvious right away that this man could fly.  He fit right into the Sonderstaffel and quickly established himself as a leader among the boys.  FSO however he struggled with.  Sure he was taking down the red guys, but just could not survive a frame.  I enjoyed watching him mature as the months passed until finally he began surviving the frames and making it home.  A few operations ago he passed me on the III. Gruppe Killboard, and has never looked back.  A great stick, outstanding leader, very helpful to all the guys in the squad and a darn nice guy, it really pleased me this morning to award him this honor - the first in JG11 to receive it.  Please join me in congratulating 'Hopper' on this outstanding accomplishment!

 The P51 D was made by the Gods for men to fly. 
 The FW190 D  was made by men, for Gods to fly .

I was one of his kills Friday night and it was not the first time.

I had it in my head the P51B could out turn the 109G6. I was sadly mistaken. When I engaged Hopper he quickly turned the tables on me and within about 30 seconds I was shot down.
Excellent stick in the LW rides, good fellow from everything I have heard and seen, and a member of an great squad.    :salute
