Spoiler wasn't leading edge. That's the slots. The spoilers were on top of the wing to aid in carrier landings. Seeing as the small number of long-wing 109Ts that saw service had most of the naval gear removed, I imagine these spoilers were removed as well.
I think slots is correct... as they do not droop so much as extend straight forward. Slats are like leading-edge flaps, no?
