The issue is that the missions are not being uploaded correctly if they are not all lower case letters.

Make sure both the file name of your .mis and the mission group name are all lower case numbers or an _

I will put out an new resource uploaded tomorrow that will fix the issue and do name validation.


Also I will be deleting any missions from the host that do not match the naming convention.

Wait wait wait wait.... If there is a chance of the missions not uploading correctly because of Caps present in the original name of the mission... Could that be part of the problem I am having with my bombers BOMBS not making contact with the ground, and simply disappearing?

IF that is so I need to seriously re-name ALL my missions

No, there is something else going on.

I renamed mine and made sure that there is nothing but lower case letters in the file name, properties of mission routes and flights.

Rebuilt it and uploaded it and still no go.

jimson, open the .mis file with word pad.

Make sure the top line (the file name) is also in lower case.

The new uploader that I release today will do this automatically for you.

Just curious because all of my missions have - inclued in the title.

Only numbers lower case letters and _ (i.e. underscore)

Currently there are some with - but that will removed shortly.

Arrrgh, I give up.

I'm just going to delete them all and start from scratch. They were only test missions anyway. With all the filenames in lower case and with the new uploader and they still don't work the problem has to be that they are corrupted on my end.

I may just try a new download of the game, perhaps my Mission editor is corrupted as well.

Hitech, if you don't mind, there are 3 missions I would like deleted from the server. They are 8thvluft, 8thvlw2, and bigday
