   there are hiding spots and there are targets .. radar, maproom, ords and VH's are usually not the best place to park a wirb during a bombing raid, just sayin !

Simple answer then, the bomb landed close enough to the bunker to knock it down, but didn't have enough energy left to cause enough damage to the wirble to kill it.
